Publishing Workflow

I use Obsidian Publish to deliver my digital garden with WarrenWeb Notes to Plus subscribers. My LYT Pipeline includes multiple apps, tools, and websites using the ARC workflow to support my PKM system and WarrenWeb where my tagline is Thinking, Linking, and Sharing.

Ideaverse

I create, link, map, and develop my ideas and notes within my Ideaverse based on what I have learned in Linking Your Thinking (LYT) Workshops.

I use a writing process workflow based on the Creator's Codex from the Writing Original Works (WOW) Workshop that complements the LYT ARC ideation workflow.

WarrenWeb Notes

I have a WarrenWeb vault that I use with Obsidian Publish, which is separate from my private Obsidian vault (Ideaverse) in my PKM system.

My LYT Pipeline includes Obsidian and other apps, tools, and websites using the ARC workflow to support my PKM system and WarrenWeb.

Writing Process

I developed a consistent writing process based on the Creator's Codex from the Writing Original Works (WOW) workshop. My LYT ARC ideation workflow moves selected content from my private Ideaverse vault to my digital garden in WarrenWeb Notes for sharing with subscribers via an Obsidian Publish site.

I use WOW techniques throughout idea emergence with both Architect and Gardener writing styles. In the Add phase, my focus is Notice and Explore; within Relate, it's both Prompting and Planning, as well as Drafting and Crafting; and in Communicate, the focus shifts to outputs with Shape and Share.

Publishing

When I'm ready to communicate my ideas, I move content from my private Ideaverse vault to my WarrenWeb digital garden vault where I focus on notes that I want to publish and share with others. I can develop them further while I write for the medium.

When a note is ready to share, I simply change its publish property from false to true. After updating a group of notes, I just use the Publish changes... command by pressing the paperplane icon in the sidebar ribbon. Within about 30 minutes, selected notes that have changed are published on the internet as WarrenWeb Notes at my password-protected Obsidian Publish site for my Plus subscribers.

There are many Site Options and Filters available that configure your site, such as password protection (unless you want a site to be public for anyone). I will describe them in Obsidian Publish pages with screenshots.

Ghost Website

These notes may be transformed later into pages and posts to be integrated into my WarrenWeb website on the Ghost publishing platform, and distributed to my email newsletter for subscribers.

I expect that my newsletter will probably have a weekly cadence, and extra Plus content such as shortcuts, templates, scripts, queries, etc. might possibly have a monthly release frequency.

Social Media

I announce new content on other websites like my existing Wordpress site and social media like Mastodon, X, Threads, Facebook, and LinkedIn. With Ghost support for the ActivityPub decentralized social networking protocol standard, my content will be delivered throughout the Fediverse.

It is designed to enable different social media services such as Mastodon, Meta Threads, Flipboard, Tumblr, Micro.blog, and Wordpress to communicate with each other, allowing users to interact across various platforms seamlessly.
