Thoughts
What do I think and feel about today's activities?
- I'm feeling happy to have the cardiac ablation to help resolve my heart arrhythmia with 24% PAC (atrial) early beats.
- Amazing technology. I was awake through whole procedure and could see a 3D color image of my heart in a section of a gigantic digital monitor next to me, including mapping and ablation catheter "finger" extensions inside the atria chamber.
- I'm hopeful that this will make it better.
Questions
Any questions for research or exploration?
- Will the ablation resolve my irregular heart beats?
- My electrophysiologist observed a spontaneous atrial fibrillation while in my heart, and had to wait 10 minutes before it stopped so he could continue; why did it this happen?
Actions
What can I do next?
- Resume Flecainide anti-arrhythmic pills, and monitor with daily Kardia EKG.
- Buy an Apple Watch as recommended by my electrophysiologist, and upgrade my iPhone; this will help monitor my heart for any future Afib events.
