Add (+) Inbox
New notes enter my Obsidian vault in the Add (+) inbox folder. They are processed using views in workflows that integrate them into main ACE folders.
Focus
I use Focus Folders to keep my attention on what I'm actively working on. This enables me to see the major groups of notes that I'm creating, linking, and refactoring. Then it becomes easier to process them when it's time to integrate them into my main ACE folders.
Notes
I have a +/Notes
folder as my default folder for new Obsidian notes. However, the Note Refactor plugin overrides this with its setting to I create refactored notes in the same folder as the original so related notes stay together.
When doing much refactoring in Focus or Notes folders, it's helpful to first move any new note to its destination folder before refactoring; otherwise, it would be necessary to move all refactored notes or the entire folder later.
Maps
I use the maps in the Add inbox as guides to help me manage my incoming notes, and document my periodic practices to ensure consistency. This also helps me develop the the workflow action sequence for automation with Shortcuts to simplify processing.
Views
The Add views help me process my incoming notes in periodic practices for each day and week. I review the Add Inbox in my Day Review, and also process them during my Week Review.
When these notes are ready, I integrate them into the main ACE folders in my digital garden and mark them to publish the next time I push new changes to WarrenWeb Notes on my Obsidian Publish website.
Sources
I keep all source notes under the Atlas/Sources
folder, rather than here as +/Sources
. That seems more appropriate as the place for this information, and so it doesn't accumulate under the Add space.
