Drafts - Test Note

To verify that everything is set up properly, I recommend you try it out with a test note.

  • Create a New Draft from the Menu Bar (or Dock), or using a hotkey ⇧ ⌘ 1.

# Test Note
 
This is a test note created in Drafts using the *Add to Obsidian* action.
 
It creates an Obsidian note using a file name derived from a clean version of the note title (first line), without any heading tag (#).
 
Also, Obsidian properties are inserted as YAML frontmatter automatically:
- up: ""
- created: {date|yyyy-mm-dd}
- tags: note/draft
 
Compare this Obsidian draft note with the original draft text that you entered, captured, or dictated.
  • Run the Add to Obsidian action
  • Review Test Note in the Obsidian + folder.
