Drafts - Add Bookmark
Open Drafts > Settings (⌘ ,
) from the app menu bar.
Select the Bookmarks tab.
Then tap the Add Bookmark button to create a new folder bookmark.
Specify the bookmark name as Add since that’s the folder bookmark used by the Add to Obsidian action where it saves a new draft note.
A prompt will appear, asking you to approve read/write permissions for a destination folder in the file system (including iCloud Drive) that you want linked to this bookmark.
Then select the Obsidian folder where you want your new draft notes to be added. I select the iCloud Drive/Obsidian/Ideaverse/+ folder, which is where I create new notes in my Ideaverse vault; all my vaults are located in an Obsidian folder on my iCloud Drive, so that it’s synced with Obsidian Mobile on my iOS devices.
This matches the folder (“+”) I have specified in Files & Links under Obsidian > Settings, which is used when I create new notes in my Ideaverse vault.
The Folders list now includes the new folder bookmark.
If you didn’t define this folder bookmark during setup, you can perform these steps the first time you run the Add to Obsidian action; however, it’s better to define it during your configuration setup.
To verify that everything is set up properly, I recommend you try it out with a test note.
If you ever want to remove a bookmark, just tap the Forget button for the specific folder to be deleted from the Folders list.
