Arc Split Views
Split Views make it easy to use multiple tabs side-by-side within a single browser window. You can arrange them either horizontally or vertically. You can adjust the size of each split pane by dragging the divider between them. They can even be pinned for accessing any time.
This capability has so many uses when working with several web pages or applications at the same time, comparing information, using drag-and-drop or copy paste, etc.
Arc offers much flexibility for using split views:
- Just drag a tab to the middle of your screen where you want it (left, middle, or right)
- You can also simply drag any tab and drop it on the left or right side of another tab to create a split view adjacent to the existing page.
- Just right-click on any tab in the sidebar and choose Add Split View.
- Or use the hotkey
Shift-Ctl-=
to create a split view and select another tab or enter an address. - Remove a tab from a split view by tapping on the
X
icon in the window or tab, or choose Separate All Tabs from the context menu.
