App Folders

I use app folders to keep together my notes, information, and knowledge about applications.

I have a major effort that focuses on application integration between multiple applications in my PKM environment, so I have many notes for each app and it seems appropriate to have these Focus Folders with a specific purpose.

However, I have now moved my app folders from Efforts to the Atlas folder within my ACE organization since applications represent a major part of my knowledge base.

App notes

I define an App fileClass with Metadata Menu for each app note that represents an application; it includes properties associated with an app: name, category, topic, group, rank. For example, there is an Obsidian app note in my Ideaverse vault, and there is a corresponding Obsidian page on my Ghost website.

Also, there is a corresponding app map for each application. There is an Obsidian Map note that I use to organize and develop related notes about Obsidian.
