Arc - LYT Spaces
I am developing LYT Spaces with the Arc browser that complements my PKM system in Obsidian based on Linking Your Thinking by Nick Milo.
These are aligned with ACE folders for Atlas, Calendar, and Efforts for my ideas, thoughts, knowledge, and efforts and ARC workflows for Add, Relate, and Communicate.
I also have a Home Space as well as my current LYT Workshop effort and Circle space. I find that a Focus, Temp, and Queue space can sometimes be helpful. You can even create a Bookmarks or Reading space to minimize switching to another app like Raindrop or Readwise Reader.
It also offers me a comprehensive and powerful way to address the collection problem with Idea Emergence so I can focus on creating in my Obsidian vault. I have described additional features in Arc Spaces.
Moving Tabs
It enables my workflow because it’s so easy to move any tab (link), note, or Easel to another space using Right-click with the Move to
option, and then choose the destination space and folder: Add, Relate, Communicate, Atlas, Calendar, Effort, etc.
I have an inbox for each space named + (similar to my Obsidian vault), where I can quickly place stuff, unless I know the specific folder where it belongs.
Spaces are distinct browsing areas in Arc, created to separate different contexts. Each Space has its own Pinned section, Unpinned section, Theme, and Icon.
